Pramod Mahajan murder trial adjourned till May 22

Mumbai, May 22: A local court today adjourned the trial proceedings till tomorrow in the murder case of former BJP leader Pramod Mahajan.

As soon as court assembled for the days proceedings, Special Public Prosecutor Ujwal Nikam moved an application seeking an adjournment till tomorrow afternoon as he is busy in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case.

Additional Session Court Judge S P Davare, who is presiding over the trial into the Pramod Mahajan murder case, granted permission and adjourned the matter till tomorrow.

It may be recalled that on April 22, last year, Pramod Mahajan was shot allegedly by his younger brother, Pravin. Pramod Mahajan had succumbed to his injuries 13 days later.
