Murder accused get death

Hoshangabad, MP, May 22 (UNI) A local court today awarded death sentence to two people, who were convicted of murdering an old couple.

Pronouncing the verdict, District and Sessions Judge ordered that Suresh and Mukesh be hanged till death.

According to prosecution, the accused had killed Roop Singh (60) and his wife Shivpyari (55) at Silari village in this district on June 5, 2006, suspecting them of practicing witchcraft.
