Mukund net profit up by 31 per cent

Mumbai, May 22, (UNI) Seel manufacturing company, Mukand Ltd, today recorded a growth of 31 per cent in net profit for the FY07, at Rs 113 crore as against Rs 86 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company has also announced a dividend of 10 per cent on its share equity.

The turnover of the company grew by 15 per cent at Rs 2078 crore for the same period against Rs 1802 crore in the previous year.

The company attributed this growth to the enhanced product mix and shifting focus towards further downstream products that enabled the company to improve its margins.
