JD(U) mourns Nitish's wife

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) The national office-bearers of Janata Dal (United) today condoled the deaths of Manju Sinha, wife of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and veteran socialist leader Manjay Lal at a special meeting held here.

The meeting was chaired by JD(U) President Sharad Yadav. The members later observed a one-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls.

The meeting also reviewed the results of UP assembly elections. A preliminary discussion on the coming assembly elections in Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhatisgarh also took place.
