Five-yr-old girl lights father's pyre

Betul, MP, May 22 (UNI) Casting aside tradition, a five-year-old girl lit her father's pyre at this district headquarters.

Lalit Kalbhor died in hospital on Sunday following chest pain and, as he did not have a son, relatives decided that the elder of the two daughters would light the pyre.

Sona performed the rite at the Moksh Dham.
