ND: EC transfers Goa DIG Ujjwal Mishra

New Delhi May 22: The Election Commission today ordered the transfer of Goa DIG Ujjwal Mishra for ''ineffective handling of poll duties''.

The Commission directed that Mr Mishra be shifted from his post immediately and not given any election duty, EC sources said.

The Commission also ordered the shifting of the sub divisional police officer of Margao with immediate effect.
