DVAC raids ex-Minister's premises, seizes documents
Chennai, May 22 (UNI) Sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) today conducted raids at the residential and office premises of former AIADMK Minister 'Natham' R Viswanathan for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Police sources said the raids, which began in the morning, were still continuing.
Several incriminating documents were seized during the raids, that took place at his residence in Natham village in Dindigul district and his office premises in the city.
The officials also raided the residences of Mr Viswanathan's brothers, the sources said.
