Cement company fined for illegal mining

Bhuj, May 22 (UNI) A fine of Rs 8 crore has been levied on Sanghi Cement Industries, located in Abdasa taluka of Kutch district, for illegal mining.

Kutch District Collector Dhananjay Dwivedi issued a notice upon the company, asking it to pay the fine of Rs 8 crore for illegal mining as they had failed to pay the requisite royalty to the government.
