CBI court defers murder case of Sacha Sauda manager
Ambala, May 22 (UNI) A special CBI court today deferred the hearing in the murder case of former manager of Dera Sacha Sauda Ranjit Singh till June 9.
CBI Judge R K Saini deferred the case after the five accused --Kishan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Avtar Singh, Sabdal Singh and Inder Singh--were produced in court.
The five accused were close confidants of Dera Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and had allegedly killed Ranjit Singh on the suspicion that he had leaked out the Dera secrets through an anonymous letter accusing the Baba of sexually exploiting his women disciples.
The CBI started investigating the case on the directive of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
