Bharat Forge Q4 net up 21.26 pc, recommends dividend

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Global supplier of forged and machined components, Bharat Forge Ltd today posted 21.26 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 64.28 crore for the quarter ended March 2007 as compared to Rs 53.01 crore for the corresponding period last year.

Company's total income increased 18.89 per cent from Rs 452.74 crore for Q4FY06 to Rs 538.27 crore for the same period this year.

For the year ended March 31, 2007, company's net profit rose 16.42 per cent to Rs 240.95 crore as against Rs 206.96 crore for the last fiscal while the total income stood at Rs 1,945.29 crore, up 19.27 per cent against Rs 1,630.95 crore for the previous fiscal.

The company has recommended a dividend of Rs 3.50 per equity share (175 per cent).
