5 injured in group clash

Guwahati, May 22 (UNI) Fifteen people were injured during a group clash at Naharkotia in Dibrugarh district today.

Police sources said the mysterious death of an inebriated villager, Tutu Gogoi, of Balijan triggered a group clash in the village this evening.

At least fifteen people sustained serious injuries in the confrontation, before the police arrived and dispersed the fighting groups.

Some villagers were detained by the police for interrogation.
