32 units sealed by MCD in six zones

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Continuing its drive to seal commercial units operating in violation of the 2021 Delhi Master Plan, the MCD today put to seal 32 units in six zones of the city.

Commercial units were sealed in Lajpatnagar-II in Central zone, Balmiki Marg in Rohini, East Vinod Nagar in Shahdara (South) zone, the MCD spokesperson said.

Sixteen units were sealed in Shahdara (South) zone, one each unit in Central zone and Civil Lines, eight in Rohini, three Shahdara (North) and eight in Rohini zone, the spokesperson said.

Action could not be taken in Tilaknagar area of West zone due to non-availability of police force.

With today's sealing, the number of units put to seal since the drive began on March 28 reached to 1688.
