3 including history-sheeter held

Lucknow, May 22 (UNI) Three miscreants, including a history- sheeter, were arrested today in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh.

On suspicion, cops intercepted three motorcycle-borne at a 'dhaba' on Sitapur-Shahjahapur highway. On being challenged, they opened fire, but were later nabbed, police said.

A pistol, 20 cartridges and a robbed bike were recovered from the spot.

Several heinous cases were pending against the accused, identified as Milkhe, Sanni and Sanjay. Milkhe was carrying a reward of Rs 2,500 on his head.
