UP road accident hurts 19

Pratapgarh, May 21 (UNI) Ninteen people were grievously injured, including seven women and three children, in a jeep-truck collision in Kotwali area here today.

Police said the accident took place on Katra road, where a jeep rammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The injured were admitted to district hospital, where those in critical condition were recommended to Allahabad.

Police has taken both the vehicles in its custody.
