Union Classic Current Account re-launched

Visakhapatnam, May 21 (UNI) The Union Bank of India (UBI) Assistant General Manager Charamana K C today said the bank's repackaged Union Classic Current Account (UCCA) would be available to customers at 200 branches from June One this year.

A bank press release here said, UCCA offerd a wide range of concessions and services to entitled more benefits like maintaining monthly balance from Rs 50,000 to ten lakhs.

The UCCA facilitates better management of funds, reduction in operating costs leading to increased profits for the account holder.

The future plans of the bank included reaching a business of Rs 1,85,000 crore by the end of March 2008.

The bank also received approval from RBI for opening branches in Hong Kong and Doha and a representative office in Beijing, the releasse added.
