Akola, May 21 (UNI) Two imposters have been arrested while appearing for students here at an examination centre conducting a typing examination of the Maharashtra State Technical Board, police said.

The two impostors were identified as Asish Gajanan Lokhande of nearby Barshitakli tahsil town, who was appearing for Sharad Prakash Jadhav of Akola and another Sandip Mukund Desai of Ashray Nagar here, who was found appearing for Tulshiram Govind Dandle.

In a surprise check at the Agarkar Vidyalaya centre, the vigilance officer intercepted these two bogus students. The impostors were booked under relevant section of IPC and examination regulations, the police said.

Maharashtra State Technical Board was conducting an English typing examination at the centre on May 19, police said.

However, surprisingly no offence was registered against the students who might have conspired with the arrested impostors, appearing on their behalf.
