Lucknow, May 21 (UNI) The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today said the Samajwadi Party (SP) has no right to demand removal of third paragraph from Governor T V Rajeshwar's address at the first sitting of the 15th Uttar Pradesh Assembly.

''SP can have a debate on the governor's Address but demanding editing of any para is not right,'' BJP state unit president Keshari Nath Tripathi said.

The governor's address is linked with policies of the government.

Therefore, one can criticise it but cannot make such a demand, he noted.

As the house reassembled after the governor's address to the joint session of the state legislature, opposition members particularly the SP leaders demanded removal of third para of the address, citing serious lapses in it.
