Rajiv Prasad Phoenix Lamps new MD

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Phoenix Lamps Ltd today appointed Rajiv Prasad as its new Managing Director.

''Rajiv brings on board invaluable multi-industrial experience to the Phoenix team. He will boost Phoenix plans to address the emerging lighting needs of the country and across the globe,'' company's Chairman Raj Sahgal said.

The newly-appointed Managing Director said, ''I am looking forward to opportunities to achieve leadership in the lighting market.'' Mr Prasad for over two decades has been with multiple industries in areas of manufacturing, sales and marketing and profit centre management.

He has been associated with different organisations, including Gujarat Glass, Owens Brockway, ITC and BHEL.

Before joining Phoenix Lamps, he was Director with Gujarat Glass Ltd.
