Pakistan Sikhs for action against Sacha Sauda chief
Amritsar, May 21 (UNI) The Dera Sacha Sauda controversy spilled over the border, with the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandik Committee (PSGPC) demanding stern action against the Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh for having hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community.
A meeting of the PSGPC was held at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore today to take stock of the situation in the Sikh community following the activities of Ram Raheem. The meeting was chaired by the PSGPC chief Giani Bishan Singh.
In a communique faxed to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Joginder Singh Vidanti, the PSGPC demanded strict action against the Dera chief.
" The offence of Ram Raheem was unpardonable and he should be punished for his act by the Akal Takht", the communique distributed amongst mediapersons here stated.
