NVDA organised training workshop in MP

Bhopal, May 21: With the objective of making its engineers more effective performers, the Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) organised an extensive two-day training workshop at Narmada Bhavan here.

During the event, which concluded yesterday, experts on various aspects of capacity-building and personality development trained about 50 engineers on how to bring up hidden capability and utilise it in building capacity. They also provided practical tips against drawbacks and for developing a positive personality, an official release said.

''In consonance with the fact that capacity of officers equals the organisation's capacity, we began this approach to strengthen officers' capacity. The training was well-taken by officers and we will extend such a programme to field officers,'' said NVDA Vice-Chairman Uday Kumar Varma.

The Manjile Institute of Capacity-Building and Personality Development provided training for developing awareness, confidence, tolerance, decision-making capacity, communication skill etc through lectures and visuals, the release added.
