Next hearing in national flag dishonour case on June 6
Bhopal, May 21 (UNI) The hearing in connection with the alleged dishnouring of national flag by five people, including master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and actress Mandira Bedi, will take place on June 6.
The hearing -- taking place in Judicial Magistrate Pradeep Soni's court -- could not take place as the judge was on leave.
Earlier, the court had issued directions to all the five people.
A social activist, Chandraprakash Rai, had filed a petition in the court stating that Sachin had dishonoured the tricolour by cutting a cake in the colours of the national flag.
On the other hand, Mandira had worn a 'saree' on television during commentary of the World Cup showing the tricolour near her feet.
The petitioner had demanded registering of a case under the Prevention of Insult to the National Honour Act, 1971, against the concerned.
