New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Clearing his stance on the ongoing debate over the entry of foreign players for offering 3G mobile services, Bharti Enterprise Chairman Sunit Mittal today said he was not against them if the existing players got enough spectrum.

''We are not against foreign players if existing players get enough spectrum,'' Mr Mittal told reporters here on the sidelines of a conference.

Commenting on scrapping the roaming rates, he said, ''We are not opposed to scrap roaming charges, if government rationalises other duty.'' Earlier, COAI, which represents GSM service providers, has written to the government that existing players should be given first right of use over 3G spectrum in view of the scarcity of spectrum for them.

The association said TRAI had also recommended that existing domestic players should be given priority for allocating spectrum.
