Mayawati's social engineering have no takers in Raj: BJP

Jaipur, May 21 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Hari Shanker Bhabra today said Mayawati's social engineering may not have any takers in Rajasthan.

Talking to newsmen here, the former deputy Chief Minister said Uttar Pradesh has got a history of caste and community based lobby dabbling in politics but in Rajasthan the situation is quite different. He said unlike UP, BSP is not a force to reckon with in Rajasthan and the community organisations were also not united and rudderless.

Talking about the surpise thrown up by the UP election he said all the political parties have to learn a lesson from UP election.

But he added the success of the new experiment and social coalition depends on how the BSP and Mayawati was able to do the balancing act and able to absorb the pulls and pressures of different community and caste aspirations in the social coalition.
