Man arrested with arms cache in Mumbai
Mumbai, May 21 (UNI) The city police today arrested a man from Madhya Pradesh with arms and ammunition at Mankhurd railway station in North-east Mumbai.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Unit-VI Ratan Singh Rathod told newspersons that Arvind Rawa Pavra (20) was arrested while trying to sell the consignment of seven pistols, one revolver and 18 live bullets to a fake customer at the Mankhurd railway station.
Pavra, a resident of Badwadi district in neigbouring Madhya Pradesh, came here to sell the arms and ammunition to a prospective buyer in the city, Rathod said.
The accused has been remanded to police custody till May 24.
