Flights disrupted due to rain in the city

Kolkata, May 21 (UNI) Two Kolkata-bound flights had to be diverted, followig a thundershower that lashed the city and its suburbs.

Traffic control sources here said an Alliance Air flight 7254 coming from Silchar was diverted to Bhubaneswar.

Later the flight returned to Kolkata, after the weather improved here.

A private Tata Steel aircraft coming from Jamshedpur had to return after it failed to land here.
