China truck crash kills 20 women farmers

Beijing, May 21: Twenty women farmers were killed in northeast China when their three-wheeled pickup truck overturned on a mountain path, Xinhua news agency said today.

The accident happened in the province of Liaoning where the women were on their way home from picking herbs. Four women were injured.

Xinhua did not give details of the crash but said the accident was under investigation.
