CEO announces schedule for preparing photo ICs

Shimla, May 21 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manisha Nanda today announced the schedule for preparing photo identity cards for different districts of the state.

The voters residing in Shimla district could get their identity photo cards prepared from today up to June 12, up to June 26 in Sirmaur district, up to July seven in Chamba district and from tomorrow up to July seven in Kangra district of the state, she said in a release here.

Ms Nanda said the voters of Solan and Kinnaur districts could get their cards prepared up to June 30 and May 27 respectively.

Voters could also submit their passport size photograph along with prescribed application form to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (SDM) for preparing their cards, she added.
