Brothers buried alive as pit caves in

Sangrur, May 21 (UNI) Two brothers were killed after a pit they were digging in their fields caved in and buried them at Maur village under the Dirba police station this afternoon, police here said.

The deceased were extracted from the debris by the village residents and rushed to a hospital where they were declared brought dead.

They were identified as 17-year old Balwant Singh and his elder brother Hakam Singh.
