Boy killed in bomb explosion

Barrackpore, May 21 (UNI) A 10-year old boy of Lelingarh in North 24 Parganas was killed in a bomb explosion last night.

Police today said one of the hands of Anup Gayen was severed in the explosion. He was admitted to the R G Kar Medical College Hospital in the city soon after the incident, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Sources said Anup presuming the bomb to be a ball picked it up from the approach road near his house and it soon exploded.

Police has launched a hunt to find the miscreants, who had left the explosives behind.
