Bookie arrested in Vadodara

Vadodara, May 21 (UNI) A cricket bookie, involved in taking bets on the ongoing West Indies-England test match, was arrested by police from his residence in Akshardham society at Warasiya today.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team, headed by Police Inspector K B Jadeja of DCB raided his house this afternoon and seized four mobile phones and a TV set.

Jaimin Kiranbhai Patel was an agent of a big-time bookie Natwarbhai, who is absconding, sources said.
