Biscuit bandits strike again

Chennai, May 21 (UNI) Elusive biscuit bandits struck again robbing 11 passengers in Yeswantpur-Tata Nagar express train, by offering them eatables laced with a sedative.

Railway police said as the train reached Jolarpet railway station early this morning, railway officials noticed the 11- male- passengers lying unconscious in a general compartment. They removed them to the Government hospital at Tirupathur.

Police said the exact value of the property stolen from the passengers as well as their identity could not be ascertained till they regain consciousness.
