Dhaka: 4 bodies recovered; storm death toll to 10

Dhaka, May 21: Four bodies were recovered from Teknaf coast of Southeastern Bangladesh and three from St Martin Island yesterday raising the death toll from last Monday's cyclonic storm to 10, police said.

The storm damaged hundreds of thatched houses and educational institutions in islands of St Martin, Maheshkhali, Kutubdia, Chokoria and Teknaf of Cox's Bazar district.

Local people said some 40 fishermen of 12 boats have been missing since the storm.
