3 duped by zeharkhurani gang

Lucknow, May 21 (UNI) Three victims of a zeharkhurani (drug-and-rob) gang, found at the Gorakhpur railway station aboard the Sampark Kranti Express, were admitted to hospital today.

Railway Police said the victims were found in a general coach on board the Delhi-Patna 2566 Sampark Kranti Express this morning.

They were yet to regain consciousness, police added.

Meanwhile, a case had been registered in this regard.

The zeharkhurani gangs have become active with the advent of summer rush in trains. In a similar incident two days back, nine passengers duped by a suspected zeharkhurani gang were found at Gorakhpur railway station.
