2 dead after falling in molasses tank

Ghazipur, May 21 (UNI) Two people lost their lives after they fell in a molasses tank in Nandganj area here today.

The incident occurred when Raju Jaiswal, a tobacco businessman, opened the cover of an underground molasses tank.

Wherein, he fainted after inhaling the gas and fell in the tank.

However, two people -- Umesh Jaiswal and Parsa Gupta -- also fainted when they stepped inside the tank to save Raju.

Later, the duo succumbed, whereas Raju had been admitted to hospital.

Investigations were on.
