Youth stabbed to death, abandoned on road

Malappuram, Kerala, May 20 (UNI) A 24-year-old youth was stabbed to death by some unidentified persons at Kalachaal, near Changaramkulam, in the district, today.

Police sources said the deceased was identified as Sfuban, hailing from Koduvally in Kozhikode district. He was allegedly an agent of hawala money transactions.

The sources said some unidentified persons kidnapped Sfuban in a van while he was walking on the road at Naduvam, near Edappal, and abandoned him on the road at Kalachaal after stabbing him to death.

Stab wounds were found at two places on his abdomen.

They said rivalry between groups might be the reason behind the murder.
