Woman gets husband killed over love affair

Pratapgarh, May 20 (UNI) A woman allegedly had her husband murdered after he objected to her love affair in the district.

Police said the crime took place late last night at Cinema Road, where Krishna Kumar was hacked to death by two armed miscreants.

Meanwhile, police arrested three persons, including the deceased's wife and her boyfriend today.

On interrogation, Puneeta confessed owing to an affair with Anshu alias Utkarsh Pandey, he along with her boyfriend hired two contract killers at Rs 90,000.

While one contract killer Jaleel has been nabbed, the other Shameem is still absconding.

A hunt for him was on.
