Three arrested with fake currency in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 20 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have busted a fake currency racket by arresting three people in south Kashmir last night, an official spokesman said today.
He said police arrested three people from Zinapora village in Shopian district of south Kashmir last night in connection with the circulation of fake currency notes.
One lakh fake currency notes were seized from them.
In another incident in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, two unknown persons intruded into the house of Bashir Ahmad Dar at Ghat, Palhallan and took away Rupees 10,000 and his mobile phone.
Immediately after the incident, police swung into action and arrested both of them, the spokesman said.
