Suicide bomber kills 5 in Afghanistan: Governor
Kabul, May 20: A suicide bomber killed five people and wounded at least 35 others in the southern Afghan province of Paktia today, the province's governor said.
The bomber detonated his explosives in a street market in the city of Gardez, about 100 km (60 miles) south of the Afghan capital Kabul, Paktia governor Rahmatullah Rahmat said.
A suicide bomber killed nine people, including three German soldiers, in Kunduz in northern Afghanistan on Saturday.
