Saket murder case solved, maid arrested from West Bengal

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) The maid, who allegedly killed her women employer in Saket area of South Delhi on May 16, was today arrested by the Delhi Police from 24 Paraganas district in West Bengal.

The accused, Malti Mandal alias Rakhi Shah, was arrested from her home in 24 Paraganas (North) district in West Bengal by the investigation team of the Malviya Nagar Police, which had gone there in seach of the accused, police here said today.

A mobile phone, Rs 1,500 cash and a 'card' (membership) were recovered from her.

During initial interrogation Malti said she was agitated over her employer's regular scolding when she talked to a neigbourhood boy.

Fed up with the scolding, she strangled her Mistress fled, police said adding that the team was on its way to Delhi.
