Police arrest Hyderabadi on charges of blackmailing

Mysore, May 20 (UNI) Police have arrested a native of Hyderabad for allegedly blackmailing his chat mates on the internet.

Police said here today Neeraj Vaidya had blackmailed many girls and women in the city and extorted lakhs of rupees from them.

Police also recovered Rs 1.65 lakh and a laptop used for chatting and mobile phones.

The culprit was an IT Professional who worked in several software companies. Police traced the E-mail ID of the accused and arrested him.
