Mysore Summer races to begin from May 13

Mysore, May 20 (UNI) The 15-day Mysore Summer Races 2007 would commence here from May 23.

In a press release, Mysore Race Club Secretary G Anantharaj Urs said that a total stakes amount of RS 1.81 crore would be offered for the season. About 425 horses expected to participate during the season.

Trainers mainly from Bangalore based stables would bring their runners while jockeys from many parts of the country would don the silks. The season would end on July 25.
