Moderate earthquake rattles South Sikkim

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) A moderate earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale, jolted South Sikkim this evening.

The tremor, which occured at 1948 hrs was epicentred at 27.5 degrees North latitude and 88.3 East longitude, the Indian Meterological Department said.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
