Kolkata to experience thundershower in next 24 hours

Kolkata, May 20 (UNI) Kolkatans may get respite from a sweltering condition today following weatherman's prediction of thundershowers in the next 24 hours.

The city had been experiencing a moderate climate since the past few days due to cloudy sky.

There has been no rains in the city despite the Met department's forecast of a few drizzles in some isolated areas.

However, some parts of West Bengal received scanty rainfall.

Met department recorded maximum temperature of 36 degree Celsius while the minimum was 25.6 degree Celsius.

Maximum and minimum humidity was 93 and 56 per cent.
