Heat wave condition continues in coastal AP
Hyderabad, May 20 (UNI) Heat wave conditions continued in parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, while the weather remained dry over Telangana and Rayalaseema.
The maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded at Khammam and Vijayawada.
The maximum temperature rose at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, while it fell at one or two places over Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema, the meteorological office said today.
The weather office said heat wave condition was likely to prevail in Nellore, Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna districts during the next 24 hours.
Isolated rain occurred over coastal Andhra Pradesh and rainfall of one cm was recorded at Sompeta in Srikakulam district.
