At least 19 militants killed in Lebanon clashes
TRIPOLI, Lebanon, May 20 (Reuters) Fifteen militants were killed today in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli during clashes with the Lebanese army, security sources said, bringing to at least 19 the number of militants to die in fighting.
They said the army had brought the situation under control in the city, where security forces had been pursuing members of the Fatah al-Islam group. The Tripoli death toll did not include at least four militants killed in clashes at the Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp to the north of Tripoli.
