2 girls drown in Ganga

Varanasi, May 20 (UNI) Two minor girls drowned while bathing in the Ganga in Ramnagar area here today.

Sunita (11) and her cousin Puja (8) were bathing in the river near Soojabad (Padao) village, when they slipped into deep waters and drowned.

The bodies have been recovered, police said.
