13 IAS officers shifted in UP

Lucknow, May 20 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government this evening transferred 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.

Secretary, Ambedkar Gram Vikas Department Rajan Shukla has been made Rural Development Commissioner; Principal Secretary (CM) V K Sharma has been given an additional charge as Principal Secretary of Rural Integrated Department, while Managing Director, UPDESCO Ram Krishna takes over as director of Local Bodies Department.

Besides, 10 officers who were awaiting posting, have been shifted.

D C Lakha takes over as Principal Secretary, Homeguards, Civil Defence and Political Pensions department, K K Sinha becomes Principal Secretary, General Administration Department AND Amod Kumar the Principal Secretary, IT and Electronics Department.

O N Mishra will be the new Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commission Branch, Santosh Kumar Yadav Additional Executive Director, SIPHSA, Mahendra Prasad Agarwal Additional State Project Director, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan Department, Panthari Yadav, the Joint Executive Director, State Industrial Development Corporation, Kanpur and Anurag Yadav the Additional Director, Administration and Management Academy, Lucknow.

Shashi kant Sharma has been made Special Secretary, Secretariat (Administration), while Sanjay Prasad, the new Managing Director, UPDESCO.
