Three hours bandh passes off peacefully

Moga, May 19 (UNI) The bandh in response to a call given by Sikh Students Federation passed off peacefully today amid tight security.

More than 150 activists of both Mehta and Grewal factions, led by Harman Preet Singh and Partap Singh Bajwa marched through the main bazaar and Akal Sar road, where shops were closed, police sources said.

Heavy police force was deployed in these areas to check any untoward incident, they said.

The protesters raised slogans against the chief of Dera Sacha Sauda for allegedly immitating the 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh and demanded his arrest and CBI probe of his ''anti-Sikh'' activities.
