Ten tribal familes evicted from Attapadi forest

Palakkad, May 19 (UNI) Forest officials evicted ten tribal families from the Nakkumpathi forest in Attapadi region here today.

However, they claimed that they were living in the area since 1970.

Following an agitation launched by the tribals, the officials assured them that the issue would be examined before taking further steps.
