Soldier killed in north Kashmir

Baramulla, May 19 (UNI) A soldier was killed by unidentified militants near here this afternoon, official sources said.

They said a group of militants shot at and critically wounded a solider near Baramulla police station, this afternoon at 1600 hours.

He died before the Road Opening Party (ROP) could shift him to hospital.

People present in the area ran for safety and security forces cordoned off the entire area.
